DeleteWe did hear snorts and brays and yelps and screams .... but oftentimes the animals moved slowly, and very quietly by. You would be amazed at how quietly a group of elephants can walk past a truck full of wide eyed humans.
The loudest, most frightening noise we heard the entire trip was in the middle of the night, produced by a small mammal living in the tree outside our tent... the Tree Hyrax. Also, nocturnal vocalizations by hyenas prowling around camp.
