Time to move on ...

Last night the low temperature in Boulder was expected to dip down into the upper 20s. Once again, our camper stayed warm and cozy thanks to the propane heater.

This would be a travel day, but first ... the laundry ... as well as a few "loose ends" to tie up.

The house repairs needed some final touches which required yet another trip to the local Lowes Home Improvement store. While we were out and about, we picked up some groceries to replenish the camper pantry and went shopping for warmer clothes. We had brought layers, but not enough for the cold temperatures we expected to experience as we continued our journey into Wyoming and South Dakota.

Back at Noah and Susanna's house, Rouse finished up the kitchen floor project. He installed thresholds between rooms and placed quarter round molding, while I hung the curtain that I had modified the previous day to cover the doorway to the pantry. Then I folded our laundry and Rouse fixed the front door bell... which drove Henry Dog crazy! Our 'to-do' list was complete. It was time to say goodbye.

It was wonderful to have this chance to visit with Noah and Susanna. We loved seeing them in their own space, in their daily life. We enjoyed having meals together, watching the sun set, biking, hiking, taking Henry for a walk ... learning new things to do with our technological devices! We got a little work done. We had a lot of fun. We miss you already!
