Just a regular day

This morning, Rouse walked along a trail that originated at the campground and led him under the interstate. He found a very large cliff swallow colony, deserted for seasonal migration.

Later, while I knitted, he spoke with the service guys at D&H RV Center (where we bought the Little Guy) to ask questions about issues we're having with the non-performing electric jack and the solar collector not keeping the battery charged. He was able to fix the suspected electrical short in the jack. The charging of the battery may be a more complex problem. One thing's for sure, you better be a good DIY'er if you're going to be an RV'er!

The rest of the day was spent hanging out at Noah and Susanna's house. Susanna was at the kitchen. Noah was in his home office, involved with his work-a-day work. Rouse busied himself with home repairs. Sue took a shower and got caught up on this blog.

Remember the lemon curd made in the kitchen yesterday? Susanna brought some home for us to eat. Yum, yum... lemon pie in a jar!
